The Meghalaya Farmers’ Empowerment Commission organised A One Day Workshop Cum Awareness Programme for The Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) to Understand The Various Export Potential of Spices of Meghalaya.The Workshop – “Spice export and the promotion of spices from Meghalaya” was conducted by Dr. Barman, Deputy Director of Spices Board on the potential of the export of spices from Meghalaya. The workshop aims to enlighten FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations) on what is required to become a spice exporter and how to take advantage of the export potential.
