Highlights from Day 4 of The Wine Making Certification Course conducted by the Meghalaya Farmers’ (Empowerment) Commission at The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition. The ongoing program has garnered a very positive and interactive response from the trainers as well as the participants. The aim of this masterclass is to help the winemakers as well as aspiring winemakers to grow and hone their skills.

The commission introduced the first fruit crusher, designed and developed by the Commission and Manufactured in the State of Meghalaya.

Highlight from Day 5 of the Wine Making Certification Course conducted by the Meghalaya Framers’ (Empowerment) Commission at the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition. The Commission has demonstrated the process of using the homemade fruit crusher for the very first time which was designed and developed by the Commission which will help the winemakers in getting the right tools and equipment for their wine making process.

Highlights from field trip of the Wine Making Certification Course conducted by the Meghalaya Farmers’ (Empowerment) Commission in which all the participants were taken for a field visit to one of the Farms in Mawrynkneng. The aim of this field trip is to allow the participants to understand the fruits grown and cultivated and the yield of the farm for a better understanding and knowledge to help them in their wine making journey.

Highlights of the field trip on day 6 of the Wine Making Certification Course where the participants were given a tour of one of the farms in Mawryngkneng and were able to get a better understanding and perspective on their experiences as wine makers.
