Dr. Arun Kumar Sarma, Director General, NECTAR, paying a visit to the newly established Northeast Fruit Wine Incubation Centre" (NEFWC) of the Meghalaya Farmers' (Empowerment) Commission (MFEC) located within the campus of the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHMCTAN), Shillong, on the 27th January 2023. He was accompanied by Dr. Narasimham PVSL, Chairman of Teewave Technologies and they were welcomed by the Project Officer, Shri. Bijay Kumar of the IHMCTAN. Dr. Sharma appreciated and lauded the groundbreaking initiative of the Commission which is leading the way to introducing fruit wines of Meghalaya and the Northeast to discerning consumers in national and international markets.
