Glimpses from the visit to Agument buckwheat processing facility and Kokko Factory for studying, assessing, and exploring the different Buckwheat post-harvest management types of machinery used in Japan.
At the Agument facility, the team from Meghalaya were able to see & learn about various types of machines manufactured by Kokko and in use like the Buckwheat Coarse Sorter, Brown Buckwheat Polishing Machine, Buckwheat De-Stoner, Buckwheat Seed Sorter/ Grader, Dehuller/ Peeling Machine with sorting function, and the Electric Stone Miller. These machines help to process and clean the buckwheat for further value-addition.
