The 3-day training programme of buckwheat cultivation for Farmers of Garo Hills was conducted from the 6th to the 8th of December 2022 at ATMA training hall, Sangsanggre, West Garo Hills district.
As part of the training programme, the distribution of biological control agents used against phytopathogens and biostimulation in agriculture such as Trichoderma harzianum, Metarhizium, Pseudomonas fluorescens & Trichocard was organized. This will help facilitate a successful growth rate for the Buckwheat plants the farmers will be cultivating. The training programme was concluded with a field visit to the Buckwheat farm of the District Local Research Station and Laboratories at Sangsanggre, Tura.
