The Meghalaya Farmers (Empowerment) Commission, in collaboration with the Office of The Agriculture Executive Engineer (Mechanical), Directorate of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare, organized a presentation on Agriculture Machinery and Equipment on the 12th of May 2023 on the premises of The Habitat-Asian Confluence, Shillong, which saw the participation of 5 (five) agriculture machinery companies and was marked by positive interactions between the agripreneurs of CATER and representatives of the different companies.
The main aim of the presentation was to sensitize and educate the CATER agripreneurs about the choices of agricultural machinery available, their features and capabilities so that they would be able to make the right choice of machinery and equipment to invest in when they establish their businesses thereby adding value to the farming sector of the state.
