A Memorandum of Agreement for Licensing of Bioinoculants (Biofertilizers and Biopesticides) was catalyzed by Meghalaya Farmers (Empowerment) Commission (MFEC) between CAU-CPGSAS, Umiam, Meghalaya and M/s Larry Enterprise, Tura, Meghalaya. The MOA was signed in the office of the Meghalaya Farmers (Empowerment) Commission (MFEC) on 28th January 2024 in the presence of Sri K N Kumar, Chairman, MFEC; Sri B. K. Sohliya, Executive Advisor, MFEC, Shillong; Prof. Dwipendra Thakuria, Dean, Prof. Pranab Dutta from CAU-CPGSAS, Umiam, Meghalaya, Smti. Vereena J. Lyngdoh, District Training officer, Shillong, Mr. Biswambhor Moirangthem, Proprietor and Dr. Daisy F. K. Sangma from M/s Larry Enterprise, Tura, Meghalaya. The Bioinoculant unit was incubated by the MFEC and financed under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) of the Government of India.
