Meeting of Shri K.N. Kumar, Chairman, MFEC and Shri. B. K. Sohliya, Executive Adviser, MFEC, with Mr. Kodera Jiro, Counsellor, Embassy of Japan in India on the 18th March 2024 in the office of the Commission. Also present was Mr. Sumarlang Kharlukhi, Horticulture Officer (FP), Directorate of Horticulture in charge of Mushroom Development. The Chairman briefed Mr. Kodera about the various ongoing and upcoming technological initiatives of the Commission and the Agriculture Department in collaboration with Japanese agencies in Buckwheat, Strawberries, Mushroom, Turmeric and Fruit Wines. The discussions were very fruitful with Mr. Kodera assuring the continued support of the Embassy of Japan in India to the initiatives of the Commission.
