Members and office bearers of the Khasi Jaintia Farmer's' Association (KJFA), met with the Chairman of the Commission and discussed a number of proposals from their end, chief of which was a proposal for conduct of field level trainings in Mawhati, Jongsha, Lynshing, Krang and Nongstoin circle for 500 farmers for which the Chairman handed over the cheque to them. The KJFA were also linked to 1917iTEAMS for MARVs for their members and to the office of the DHO, East Khasi Hills, for micro irrigation support. The Chairman also proposed sending beekeepers of the association for beekeeping training to IBDC Telangana.
