Objective: Showcasing buckwheat as the new superfood crop of Meghalaya, especially to B2B stakeholders and the HORECA industry for the benefit of farmers, the Commission connected with Chefs, Bakers, Confectioners, Cafes, Hoteliers, and Restaurateurs to sensitise and encourage them to develop innovative value-added products and dishes from Buckwheat to be presented at the Buckwheat Showcase event slated for September 2022 with the support of the IHM, Shillong, the Directorate of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and the Directorate of Food Processing.
