The purpose of introducing the “Sabjee Cooler” in Meghalaya is to address the wastage in the supply chain for farmers and facilitate their access to better markets by providing them with a more efficient option of post-harvest storage of vegetables and fruits. The Sabjee Coolers were handed over to various clustered farmer locations in Meghalaya - Sawsymper Mawsynram Block, Khliehshnong Sohra (East Khasi Hills), and Tebronggre (West Garo Hills).
