Kumar, Chairman, Meghalaya Farmers' (Empowerment) Commission, Shri B. K. Sohliya, Executive Advisor, Meghalaya Farmers' (Empowerment) Commission, Delegates from CSIR-NCL and NECTAR & Apiculture Experts from the Scientific Community take a picture with Beekeepers from across the state who had come to attend the 2nd Day of the Event which focused on "Expanding the Boundaries of the North-east Honey Industry"
Meghalaya Farmers' (Empowerment) Commission organised a mini Exhibition on Day 2 of "The 2-Day Stakeholder Conference on Promoting Apiculture in the North-Eastern Region" where Beekeepers & Entrepreneurs showcased Honey & Honey By-Products. The Chief Minister, Shri Conrad K. Sangma visited the stalls and interacted with all the participants.
Day 2 of "The 2-Day Stakeholder Conference on Promoting Apiculture in the North-Eastern Region" witnessed the momentous signing of a collaborative MOU between Meghalaya Farmers' (Empowerment) Commission (MFEC) & North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach (NECTAR) by Shri K.N. Kumar, Chairman, MFEC and Dr. Arun K. Sarma, Director General, NECTAR in the presence of the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Shri Conrad K. Sangma.
