The Meghalaya Farmers (Empowerment) Commission (MFEC) in collaboration with The Office of The Agriculture Executive Engineer (Mechanical), Directorate of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare conducted a 3 Day training program for would be entrepreneurs on setting up of their very own Centres for Agri-business & Technology through Entrepreneurial Resourcefulness (CATER) in the farm mechanization sector for the procurement of and hiring out of agriculture machinery/equipment/technology to farmers, processors and entrepreneurs to offset the increasing shortage of agricultural labor accompanied by high daily wages.
